Black-figure olpe found in 1937 on the Acropolis north slope in many fragments; it was then mended and restored.

It has a flaring ring-foot, bulbous body, cylindrical neck, outturned rim with triangular protrusions and a vertical handle. In a panel below the mouth are shown Dionysos and Athena, both seated. The god holds a rhyton and has a wreath on his head. Athena wears a helmet and holds a round shield decorated with a white bent leg. Behind the two gods stand two Satyrs. Vines as well as ivy leaves and meander adorn the vase’s body and neck.
